ANNUAL KSOGA QUIZ COMPETITION — KSOGA 2025 (Tumkur)

Respected Sir/Madam,

We are happy to inform that ANNUAL KSOGA QUIZ COMPETITION for the postgraduates and consultants will be conducted separately during KSOGA 2025 at Tumkur.

Guidelines for Postgraduate quiz:

We request every society President and Chairperson to send team/ teams as follows compulsorily:

• Each team should consist of 2 members.
• Grade A society — Minimum 1 team; Maximum 4 teams
• Grade B society — Minimum 1 team; Maximum 2 teams
• Grade C society — Only 1 team

The societies are requested to submit the names either by selecting them through society meeting or conducting quiz by the respective societies themselves and sending the final names of the winners as per their convenience. Each society should submit the names to both KSOGA official mail id ksogaoffice@gmail.com and to Dr Rashmi Patil (Chairperson Quiz Committee 2025-27) rashf28@gmail.com compulsorily by 15 September, 2025 by 5 pm IST. Any entries or mails after the deadline will not be accepted.

Prerequisites for Postgraduate participants:

1. Each team will have 2 members.
2. Every quiz participant must be a member of the respective society — either annual membership which is currently active or a life membership.
3. Every quiz participant must register to the conference. Without registration, the candidate will not be allowed to participate in the quiz.

The written qualifier round will be held on 1 of November, 2025. Four teams will be selected based on the top scores. The audiovisual final quiz will be held on 2 of November, 2025 on stage for the selected 4 teams. The winners of the quiz competition will be awarded cash prizes and certificate during the valedictory function. In case there is a rare occurrence of more than 2 teams getting selected for finals from the same society, the decision for the 4 finalist teams will be taken jointly by the President, Secretary and the Quiz Committee members.

Guidelines for the Consultant quiz:

The consultants attending the conference can enroll themselves while collecting their conference badges at the venue (please enquire about the same). There will be a separate registration counter to enroll for the consultant quiz. There will be only one round of written quiz for the consultants to be held on 1 of November, 2025.

Prerequisites for Consultant participants:

1. Each team will have 2 consultant members from the same society.
2. Every quiz participant must be a member of the respective society — either annual membership which is currently active or a life membership.
3. Every quiz participant must register to the conference. Without registration, the candidate will not be allowed to participate in the quiz.

The top scoring team will be declared as winners. The names of the winning team will be announced during the valedictory function. The winners of the quiz competition will be awarded cash prizes and certificate.
